Meet Sophia

Hi everyone

We would like to introduce you to 'Sophia', she is a little girl our family sponsors through ChildFund.

Sophia is 4 years old and live in the war torn african country of Angola. She and her 2 sisters live with their parents in a mud wall hut with a dirt floor and no sanitary facilities. The family has a borehole for water and kerosene lamp for lighting.

At the risk of sounding like Oprah, Sofia has been an eye opener to our family. With the comparative material wealth we have she helps us to always think of those in far less fortunate circumstances.

It makes for some great chats with the kids too ! digging up on a map ( google earth was great for this) to see where Sophia lives, sometimes one of us will just ponder out loud " I wonder what Sophia is doing today"

We pray that through us God blesses her and her family with health, food and faith.

We are truly blessed and thanks be to God who allows so many to give to those who need our support.

Hello Sophia, lovely to meet you!
Very cute face. We often talk to Hayden about little children like this in the world. Especially at dinner time when he doesn't want to eat or doesn't like what is put in front of him. Sure makes it more real when you read these stories. We are so blessed but take so much for granted. Thanks for reminding us again of how little they have and how much we have.

Hiya guys

Thanks for stopping by with a comment, I haven't updated in a while, the three youngest here were really knocked around with a bad cold and Harry ended up getting ulcers in his mouth which made feeding a nightmare, poor kid.

Anyway I will update soon, hope you all have a great week.

Cheers, Connie
