Hiya everyone
Just wanted to pop in here and say 'Hi' to everyone, it has been yonks since we blogged but I want to say thanks for the really nice emails and comments people have sent wondering if we are OK?
I has been a bit of a roller-coaster ride here over the last few months. Harry was/is still waking about 3 - 4 times a night and after sleep deprivation like that you become a little unglued LOL. We are trying to sleep train him ourselves or the next stop will be Ngala. His weight is average now and he loves his solids so there is not a real good reason for no sleeping !!!
I have got lots of photos and I will try and post them in the next week, for the rest of us , well all are doing fine. The kids are hanging out for school holidays, so is Murray cos he has 2 weeks booked off. The boys saw the new nail gun he has bought and are saying "Dad can we build Liam and Molly a cubby house?? how bout some vegie garden beds for Mum" funny how short 2 weeks can seem all of a sudden.
Also we are very grateful that Mum could come home from hospital today, she was there for a week and a half with gallstone trouble and then a dose of pancreatitis. We are so thankful that God cared for her and blessed the treatment and surgery she had. Welcome home Mum and take it easy hey !
Ok I think that's all I can muster right now, we have had the power out all day and I have come home to find I now have 2 freezers full of mush.... yuk !
Hope you are all doing well, Jen I just showed Murray your photos of Bali and it just makes us want to go back there. There is something about the place isn't there? glad you got back safe.
Anyhow g'night from all of us.

Boy, am I glad to see an update from you. I was beginning to worry...not really. Our days can be filled with much more important things than keeping our blogging friends updated. It should be a priority of course, but...we'll let it slide. Seriously, I hope you get the little man to sleep soon. Sleep deprivation has never done anyone good. He probably is so used to waking so often, it's a bad habit to break. Are you letting him cry for longer and longer periods? Don't talk to him but assure him your there...etc. I'm sure you've read all the books and been told all the tricks. It is a bit of a tricky one, especially when they've been through so much and you tend to let them get away with a little more than a 'normal' healthy child. I know I was hanging out for the day mine slept through, thought it would never happen. Hang in there, and if you need to, go the Ngala route. They are really really good. Have heard that a few times. Good to hear everyone is looking forward to some holidays. Even better that Dad will be around.
Glad to hear things are okay on your end! I know sleep deprivation is not good for anyone (not that I can say much, because Kiera has always been a great sleeper). Hope you can sort things out soon. Take care, and enjoy the holidays!
Hi Connie,
just letting you know that even when you are not blogging with us, nice if you can still read some everynow and then and know too that i think of you often and hope the day for some good rest comes soon.
Happy Holidays my friend! xJen
Poor little Harry - sounds like he is having a rough time - poor kid! Let's hope he and you get some serious sleep soon - nothing worse when you don't get a good nights rest. Well hope you have fun during the school holidays - sounds like you will! Take care xx
